The New Covenant & Authority of the Believer

Prayer: Ephesians 1:17-2:6 [rewritten in the first person] pray out loud everyday

[For I always pray to] You Dad, the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that You may grant me a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of You, by having the eyes of my heart flooded with light, so that I can know and understand the hope to which You have called me, and how rich is Your glorious inheritance in the saints (Your setapart ones), and [so that I can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of Your power in and for me who believes, as demonstrated in the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted in Christ when You raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at Your [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

And You have put all things under the feet of Jesus and have appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], who is His body, the fullness of You Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Jesus Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

And me [Jesus made alive], when I was dead (slain) by [my] trespasses and sins in which at one time I walked [habitually].  I was following the course and fashion of this world [was under the sway of tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air.  [I was obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against Your purposes].  Among these I once lived and conducted myself in the passions of my flesh [my behavior governed by my corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [my cravings dictated by my senses and my dark imaginings].  I was then by nature a child of [Your] wrath and heir of [Your] indignation, like the rest of mankind.

But You Dad—are so rich in mercy!

Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which You loved me, even when I was dead (slain) by [my own] shortcoming and trespasses, You made me alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [You gave me the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which You quickened Jesus, for] it is by grace (Your favor and mercy which I did not deserve) that I was saved (delivered from judgment and made a partaker of Christ’s salvation).  And You Dad,raised me up together with Jesus and made me sit down together [giving me joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of my being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

My Command as a believer (out loud):

Dad Thank You…  for You are good, for Your mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.  In the name of Jesus the Lord of Hosts…  this shall not be, the unseen dominant forces shall be dominant no longer, but shall yield ground, and the barriers shall fall.  I bind and repel (command) Satan, all demons, disease, evil to BE GONE from me, from corporate, educational and government leaders, from America, from earth!  I am perfect in Christ Jesus, by His stripes I am healed, through Whom I have limitless resources and possibilities!
